CHOOSING THE AIR DRYER

There are many possibilities of using dehumidifiers, but in order for the dehumidifier to fulfill its task, its performance must be properly selected. We propose to use the prepared efficiency calculator.

APPLICATION

REQUIRED CAPACITY OF THE AIR DRYER (l / 24h)

CELLAR

The volume of the room divided by 15 under standard conditions

REMOVAL OF FLOOD EFFECTS

The volume of the room divided by 6 under standard conditions

FOOD STORES: CHEESE, FRUIT ...

Room volume divided by 10 plus water loss from food

SWIMMING POOL OR JACUZZI

The volume of the room divided by 10 plus 0.4 liters of water for each m2 of pool per day

ROOMS WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE

Volume of the room divided by 15 plus 4.4 liters of water per person per day

ROOMS WITH LARGE ANIMALS

The volume of the enclosure divided by 15 plus 6 liters of water for each large animal per day

EXAMPLES OF SELECTING DRYERS

CELLAR

Volume rooms V = 650 m3

Recommended dehumidifier capacity: 650: 15 = 41 l / 24h

You can apply: DH 752 or DH 44

REMOVAL OF FLOOD EFFECTS

Volume rooms V = 150 m3

Recommended dehumidifier capacity: 150: 6 = 25 l / 24h

You can apply: DH 722 or DH 26

ROOM WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE

Volume rooms V = 650 m3

Recommended dehumidifier capacity: 650: 15 = 41 l / 24h

You can apply: DH 752 or DH 44

RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) LIMITED VALUES

Intensive development of mites. Corrosion occurs, especially in aggressive weather conditions.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) 45%
Hygroscopic materials begin to absorb water and their quality deteriorates (wood, paper, textiles, food, etc.)
RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) 50%
The paper begins to thicken and deforms
RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) 55%
Corrosion is very fast
RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) 60%
People experience discomfort at high temperatures
RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) 65%
Sweating is very difficult to control at high temperatures. Molds and decay develop.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) 70%
